This dog needs a home in Ft. Worth
Posted November 21, 2009 by Loribelle

3 weeks ago, this sweet, pathetic, pitt bull terrior, came up to my car, you could see every bone in his back - he was literally starving. He was so sad, so beautiful, white with a black patch over its eye... I could not let him starve. We took him in temporarily but I already had a dog, a blue heeler. Yet, we fell in love with him. He was gaining weight so well and the dogs seemed so happy.

I got him his shots, and in the day time, my blue heeler has the run of the house and the pit, Lucious was in his kennel. I told my daughter if Lucious, the new dog who has gained so much weight and is absolutely GORGEOUS, if he ever attacked my dog, one time, I would have to get rid of him.

Today Lucious our new adopted by chance, pitt tore into Daisha while she was eatting her bone. I was scared silly. He is less than a year old.

He would not let my dog go, lucky my daughter was able to pull him off before he really hurt her. We really liked how we feel so safe with him. He has never tried to hurt her before, they play well together, but he is less than a year old and has not been neutered. We were going to get him neurtered Dec. 2nd, but now, I just want to find him a home. I cannot have a dog that lives in my home that I fear will attack my other dog, the fight would NOT be fair, this little starving dog has now grown into a beautiful, and very healthy pitt.

We all love Lucious, we have only had him 3 weeks but with this fight, we are just not sure that a pitt bull with another dog in this little house will work. Does anyone want a gorgeous, sweet dog that needs a home with no other pets. If I did not have Daisha, I would keep him for certain. But I had Daisha first.

Where can I take him without fearing someone will use him to fight or worse, if I take him to the humane society, they are putting down dogs every 3 days. He would make such a great dog if he were the only dog, but I am not getting rid of my blue heeler for a new dog. Do you have any advise, my daughter and I both love this new dog but I cannot have this happen again. I told my daughter if he attacks daisha one time he is out... and that happened tonight. Please someone help me find this dog a loving home in Fort Worth, Tx. Thank you.
